Because the IWWS system operates in a continuous process, you can run the rest of your plant without worrying about overloading the waste treatment system. The CMR Process * A proprietary process is used to precipitate the metals. * As the metals come out of solution they are bound up in large, highly buoyant particles (floc) created by the injection of flocculating polymers and micro air bubbles produced by dissolved air. * A patented metal scavenger is introduced to remove remaining dissolved metals. * While the metals are being removed, the flocculants and micro air bubbles are also removing the other contaminants such as oils and xxxxx chamber where it quickly rises to the top. * The skimmer assembly removes the floc as a sludge. * Clean effluent flows into the effluentholding tank where it is discharged.
